Dimsum is a big part of Chinese culture. This type of food is a meal in itself; served in small portions so you can sample each type in a single serving. So where is the best place to get authentic dimsum in the Philippines? Whereelse but Chinatown!
We’re at the resto just in time for their 1PM dimsum buffet / lunch and dug in right away! 🙂 Eat all we can siomai, chicken feet, dumplings and spareribs with tausi! There are other dishes in the dimsum cart but no I will never eat hakaw! haha
Yes food is good. I don’t think you can go wrong with authentic Chinese food. But I don’t think I’d pay P600 for this (as valued in the voucher) hehe. We consumed about 8 servings of food, so it’s not so bad. I’d have to give it to the Red Iced Tea and desserts that came with the meal though: Mango Sago and Almond Lychee. Those two are refreshing! 😀
Location: 4/5 for the Binondo ambience but takes a lot of walking to get there
Binondo is also known for its food walk. I hope I can join one of those or get on a Chinese food trip one day. If ever I’d be back in SaLido, I’d try their Asado, heard that is good.. 🙂
Tutri fun fact: Among the 2 of us, I’m the one with Chinese blood. Singkit lang si Chino kaya mukhang Chinese! nyaha #whowouldhavethought
